WHO'S GOING TO LOVE THEM?
Who's going to hold them and sing a song? Who's going to kiss them and tuck them in at night? Who's going to encourage and tell them not to fight? I wonder... Who's going to tickle them and make them laugh? Who's going to love them and speak of their past? Who's going to walk them and count all their toes? Who's gong to kiss the tears and soothe all their woes? I wonder... Mistakes of the mother when she was young; poor choices that caused her life to come undone-- Who's going to rock them and sing them to sleep? Who's going to pray for them and kiss their little feet? God will! He'll wrap them in his arms and tell them they're heaven sent, he'll love them and comfort them and protect! And when the sins are all wiped away they'll be with their mother again--Someday! is too precious to describe... to hear a baby crying, brings a tear to a mother's eye. To hear a baby's laughter, is to hear an angel sing... and to hold a baby's hand, is to feel the love they bring. To see a baby's eyes, twinkle softly like a star... is a gift that comes from heaven; the most beautiful, by far. Sent from God above, To everyone around them, They bring a special love! They make you act so silly, You ooh and ahh and coo, They wonder who's that making person, Making faces and it's you! They know exactly how to get Whatever it is they need, A scream, a cry, a little pout, Is all it takes indeed! Babies should be special, They make us smile no doubt, They help us see a whole new world, When we are down and out! God sent one special baby, To save us from our sins, His loving name is Jesus, Our comforter, our friend. a cherished gift from the moment of birth. "On loan" to us, from God above... to teach, to guide, but most of all, love. Yet, we must remember from the day they are born, we can't ever own them; they belong to the Lord. Daily we leave them to His gentle care... then continue to love them and keep them in prayer. When worries invade us, as they often do, let God intercede and bring peace unto you. Worry, won't help, but prayer is the way... entrust your children to their Father today. "Be anxious for nothing," God gives us advice, and we need to obey Him or we pay the price. For worry is damaging to the heart and soul... just give it to God and let Him have control. Then trust Him to handle all things for our good, you know it will happen, He promised it would. Let go of the worry, let go of the strife... and God will empower His peace in your life. A MOTHER'S LOVE SONG
it takes my breath away... I've waited so long, my little one, for years I've done nothing but pray. And now my prayers are answered, for soon, my sweet baby child... I'll be at your birth, (the greatest on earth) and I'll greet you with a hug and a smile. We'll share a beautiful moment, I'll count all your fingers and toes... the bond will be formed in an instant, a connection of spirit and soul. I'll love you with all that is in me, I'll teach you to sing and to pray... I'll be by your side whenever you cry, and I'll wash all your tears away. As you gaze on a sleeping child, Why God's inward and outward beauty, By the world can soon be defiled. You are seeing God's greatest creation, The way God met it to be, The baby reflecting salvation, It is surely God's love that you see. But time for all babies soon passes, Satan soon touches them all, And wears at the outward appearance And the soul within starts to fall. Satan is like any cancer, Of the outcome there is no doubt, Destroying all of the beauty, That once was within and without. If we give satan control of our life here, His evil becomes part of us, And we flit through a world filled with darkness, We are only a part of the lust. God sent His own Son as a baby, So we might see life's proper goal, He died for redemption of mankind, On a cross twixt two thieves on a knoll. There is not one not infected Since the fall of Adam and Eve, And the beauty we saw in the baby By the ways of the world will soon leave. But if we accept the Lord Christ as our savior, If we choose to be born again, What you're seeing is God's own spirit That comes to live within.
